What Keeping Me Up at Night (Building SellTrove at Scale)

Migrating a legacy PHP/Laravel platform to TypeScript/Next.js microservices while maintaining 99.9% uptime is not a smooth, linear process.

What is going well: the domain model is solid. Years building e-commerce and fintech systems means the architecture is designed by someone who has made the mistakes before.

What is hard: multi-tenancy at scale is always harder than the architecture diagram suggests. We run load simulations that produce failure modes we did not expect.

What keeps getting revisited: the ML pricing layer for new sellers with no sales history. Every time I think we have modelled them completely, a new seller type surfaces another gap.

Building at scale is not a destination. It is a practice.
