I have built systems in PHP, Python, Java, C, TypeScript, and more. All are in production. All solve hard problems reliably.
Junior developers spend enormous energy debating languages. These conversations are almost entirely beside the point.
The language is the instrument. Architecture is the music. The instrument does not determine the quality of the composition.
What determines quality: understanding the domain deeply, designing the data correctly, separating concerns cleanly, and writing logic that future-you can read without annotation.
Master the thinking. The languages will follow.
